Members of MEChA de Georgetown, along with several other students of Georgetown, attended the immigration rally today at the National Mall. The crowd was so amazing! This was the astounding crowd at the Smithsonian Metro station. The train was absolutely packed until we reached this stop, but this is what we saw after exiting the train.
There were so many people. It was great to see the amount of people who came out to support this event!
One of my favorite pictures. These makeshift "pyramids" were going up all over the place. The two brothers were so determined to stay up and to hold this girl up. The girl just seemed so excited to be there and to be doing something to show her support.
